Hide-In Udaipur - A Lake View Boutique Hotel

Good location. Breakfast rather poor. Restaurant area poor in cleaningness. Rooms very low average. The lady at reception is super friendly. I would not choose to book the same hotel again

Restaurant !!!

Breakfast buffet was good. But it took 45 mins to get the eggs we ordered . And the staff was unreceptive.

Long waiting time for food and sluggish service .

Location at the front of lake is good,

but too much noisy traffic and couldn’t sleep well

The view from the very far window in the room was nice but not great.The street food vendor opposite the hotel was FANTASTIC!!!

The room was very tired. Big patches of missing wall. The bathroom smelt. The bed sheets were grubby. The staff were very passive aggressive. The hotel had lots of unnecessary rules. The hotel bar was very expensive. The place was a dump and we left our four night stay after one night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

What I got was nowhere near worth ₹6000 per night—it was well below standard.The restaurant was disappointing too. The food was really unhealthy, and despite charging prices like a five-star hotel, the service was below average. Overall, it was a really bad experience and not something I’d recommend.

Nothing- was great

Rooms back side are totally dark. No natural light or fresh air. Water running off in rooms. Even after complains no proper response. Bed mattress are horrible, all old mattress.

Location was awesome, I had booked a room without the view and I decided to upgrade for an extra 1000 ruppess a night. Well worth it ,being able to look out the window directly at the water is very relaxing.

Excellent service an very helpfull staff. 2 bottle water every day.

The bathroom washbasin tap was broken. And the jet spray was leaking. The bathroom door lock was too tight to open. The bed mattress was very very uncomfortable and I even got a backache. Staff was okay but never found in their places. Food was good but unnecessarily expensive

First of all as we were on a girls' trip, we felt comfortable and safe. The location of the hotel is amazing. Rooms are exactly as shown in the picture, no exaggeration in the photos at all. This hotel is super clean and aesthetic. All the staff are extremely helpful and polite. Services are quick. We love the ambience of the restaurant and the rooftop. We got a homely treatment at this hotel. We were not denied for any service we requested. Overall it was a lovely stay.

It would be great if bathroom equipment is thoroughly checked before guests arrive. The taste of veg biriyani could have been better.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect—from the warm hospitality and excellent service to the clean and well-maintained rooms. The location was ideal, making it easy to explore the city. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance was serene and relaxing. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udaipur!

The hotel is in a wonderful location on the lake and we had beautiful views from our room! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, providing us with recommendations for the local area and checking we were ok.

The hot water in the bathroom didn’t work, there were holes in the bedsheets and the hotel was generally quite run down. No one cleaned our room during our stay (expected given the price). We also booked a car to Jodphur with the company in the lobby - I advise travellers, especially female travellers, to shop around elsewhere before booking with them. The driver was rude and aggressive, threatening to drop us on a random street if the owner of our guesthouse didn’t pick us up.

I liked the friendliness and the readiness of the staff to help. I liked that even if you got a non lake view room, you can enjoy the restaurant food at the terrace with the lake view. The rooms were clean, the terrace was pretty and we were provided an overall good experience with events at the property and questions about nearby places to visit.
